Fall update

Brian Dunning - Thursday, October 26, 2017

Fall is here! Our Independence Harbor gardens boast thousands of jewel toned Chrysanthemums in October and November as "Mother Nature" shows off her extraordinary fall foliage on our sprawling twenty acres. The "I.H." dining room is decorated to compliment the  beautiful color palate that Fall has to offer.

Saturday and Sunday daytime weddings are particularly popular in October and November offering the warmth of sunshine and the beauty of the Independence Harbor landscape.

Ornamental grasses, white pumpkins, and mums offer wonderful decorating options.

Save Money on Centerpieces!

Brian Dunning - Sunday, October 15, 2017
A great way to save money on your centerpieces is to use the "I.H." hurricane lamps.

The clear glass hurricanes are 11 1/2" tall complete with a 10" lit ivory tapered candle.

Provide a ribbon to match your wedding colors, and the "I.H." team will tie the bows for you, creating beautiful, simple and inexpensive centerpieces.

You will need 1 1/2 yards of ribbon for each hurricane. Double faced satin (1 1/2" wide) works best, wired or unwired.

If you wish to dress your centerpieces a bit more, consider adding rose petals, fall leaves, "bling", or even a wreath to circle the hurricane.
